Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal; I want to connect people in a bus stop and the bus they are waiting for in a way that making people feel at ease.
The interaction vision; Waiting for bus should feel like standing on higher ground, feel everything in your control.
Qualities: Open, Fresh, Confident
Waiting at ease
The final product is an A1 size flat screen hang on the side of a bus stop with driver’s view, real time map. stops information and predict waiting time on it, so people are facing the bus coming direction when watching the screen. The driver’s view will automatically switch in turns, until people choose one. People can keep tracking the bus they are waiting for though this product.The interaction is people being attracted by the driver’s view, choose the bus they are waiting for, and tracking the bus easily by looking the screen in bus stop.
The effect of this product is people do not have to keep searching the bus they are waiting for, but can find the bus they are waiting for easily, which removed those stresses and disappointed when keep looking at the bus coming direction, and make people feel more at ease.
