Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal: My design goal is to raise the interest of teenagers about green renovation and make them ENTHUSIASTIC about the tangible results.
The interaction vision: I want teenagers feel as excited as the first time they wear 3D glasses.
Save the leaves
The final concept is a floor lamp, which teenagers have to take care of. If they do not turn off the light when living the room, a motion sensor will capture their movement. Consequently the light will start to loose leaves, one each minute. In 10 minutes, all 10 leaves will leave the tree, and will lay on the floor. If all the leaves will fall down the lamp will “die” and stay off per 10 minutes reminding you the value of energy. However, if the user will behave good and demonstrate to treat well the lamp for at least 8 weeks, to show gratitude, one light bulb will become green and the youngster can show it to his parents and ask for a reward.
