Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal was; I want to design for elderly living alone to ask help from their neighbors with daily chores.
The interaction vision was; Interaction Vision: I want asking for help to feel like dancing like no one is watching. (social, secret, fun, light-hearted)

Robyn
CThe final design (see image) for this course is Robyn. Robyn is a communication device for elderly and their neighbors. By touching the top of Robyn (see image), the elderly can ask for help, to a certain extent. When being held for a long time, Robyn knows help is needed urgently. When held only for a short amount of time, there is no big rush.

The neighbor also has this object, and by rocking back and forth, Robyn notifies the neighbor of the help that is needed. The intensity of the rocking depends on how urgent the help needed is. To indicate that they received the message, the neighbors soothe Robyn by touching the top. After this, both birds start rocking and giving a playful light pattern, to show contact has been established.
