Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal: Make students from a high context culture feel confident when taking part in an online course.
The interaction vision: Creating a new culture; the online culture. Like a cosmopolitan that brings all cultural differences to the front.

Intercultural Online Learning
The final design is an online communication tool that encourages mutual interactions between students. It
consists out of three phases. 1) Signing up: In the sensitizing week you are asked to fill in three questionnaires of each 10 minutes. The questionnaires are about word association, sentence completion and situation response. When answering these questions a profile will be make ‘the fingerprint’ that represents your values, beliefs and practicalities such as working preferences.
2) Students will be grouped by the system based on their fingerprint. This group is the so-called neighborhoods were students feel at ease. Most likely they prefer to stay their. But once in a while they will explore other neighborhoods as well. 3) Each neighborhood has his own rules and tools, which encourage student to student interactions.
