Forest is a desk partition that enables students to focus on their studies without having negative feelings. Through an observation research in a classroom where two students with ADHD were included, it was noticed that some students who have difficulty concentrating on their assignments isolated themselves from other students to focus. The playfully shaped desk partitions in Forest encourage them to build up their bubble with other students, solving this problem of disconnection.
My design goal was to enable students with ADHD to concentrate during class, without feeling disconnected with other students. The interaction with my concept should be like holding other people’s hands in a big circle.
