How can it be that you are deeply inspired by an artwork, but others pass by without noticing it? The simple answer is that art can be quite elusive – and very personal.
The Explore Kit is a toolkit designed to encourage new members of the Art Library Rotterdam to explore their personal connection with their artwork at home. The variety of tools enables the art lender to explore their artwork in their own way, looking from different perspectives. Eventually the total exploration experience leads to a deeper and more meaningful personal connection with their artwork.
Interacting with the Explore Kit feels like dancing a duet with a strong dance partner, who can make you fly as high as you like: it’s supportive, liberating, intimate, energizing and surprising.
