Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal: I want to influence everyday thoughts citizens have about their city Eindhoven. It has more to offer than thought of at first. By pointing that out, the view on Eindhoven might change.
The interaction vision: I want the interaction to be like treasure hunting: a game in which each player or team tries to find whatever has been hidden.
What do you see?
Since the smack back in the ‘90 Eindhoven has transformed itself from an industrial town into a place where technology, design and knowledge are the thriving force. The changes done leave the city divided into Eindhoven: the known and Eindhoven: the brand. This causes a lot of frustration around citizens since they are not happy about their estranged environment. Focussing on small details in an environment affects the way people perceive their environment positively. Sharing this new found perspective with other citizens helps closing the gap: people share stories about the history and new found glory of Eindhoven.
