Design Goal
My design goal is to facilitate a way for the environmentally aware student to encourage their roommates to start separating plastic waste within the shared kitchen context”.
Interaction vision
“..Peeing on the fly in the urinal”.
Het Scheidspel (the waste game)
The final design is called het scheidspel (the waste game).
1. Use the garbage bags for recycling plastic waste.
2. One of these bags contains a moustache.
3. Become the waste king by changing the garbage bag and finding the moustache.
4. Wear the moustache and get rewarded by your roommates
Left image (Hofstede 1) is an overview of the packaging and garbage bag of Het scheidspel. Right image (Hofstede2) is the other side of the packaging with game rules and information about plastic recycling. The product is bough as a gift by the initiator. Initiator gives the product to the rebel to encourage the rebel to start separating plastic waste together.
