Cutting hair at home

When hair salons closed and most of us were stuck at home, some people decided to take matters into their own hands and pick up a pair of scissors. Though spontaneous and exciting, the reality of cutting hair yourself is that it often feels like you have no idea what you’re doing. Instead, one should have room to explore but remain in control over the situation, similar to learning to use a hula hoop as a child. Hence the aim of this project was to make amateur hairdressers feel more competent while cutting the hair of friends at home.
