Happy Flow project started

In collaboration with KLM and Schiphol airport a project has started with the aim to optimize the passenger flow at Schiphol airport and Aruba airport, considering people’s locomotion, interactions and experiences. In the project we will investigate how technological interventions can influence these in a positive manner, on the level of individuals, families/groups and crowd. A new passenger- journey will be developed for the process starting at initial check in, until entering the gate. From the passenger journey new design opportunities will be derived. Involvement from our faculty: Marco Rozendaal (project leader), Arnold Vermeeren and Emma Gohres, as well as MSc graduate students Laura Engelshove, Suzanne Aerts and Parizad Saremi.
