From 21 until 24 November 2011 I have conducted a 4-day workshop “Interaction design innovation in a cross-cultural context: from rich insights to rich experiences” at the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Structured around the theme of giftgiving, students were introduced to and acquired experience with various user research and interaction design techniques, such as contextmapping, interaction qualities and interaction vision.
