Over time, extensions and spin-offs are developed that enhance co-design initiatives in various settings or for specific purposes.
From the ground up presents a playful design education toolkit and workshop format for low-tech, low-cost, high on fun purposes. It was initially developed for a rural area in Western Kenya and aims to trigger social enjoyment of creative maker activities. The project is documented in a Master thesis (author: Marten Westerhof) and a conference abstract.
