The scents in this game are ‘difficult scents’ – you never know exactly what you are smelling. Just a suggestion of a wet coat, for example. The game for the players is to find and share the associations that the smells evoke. The players consist of clients in addiction care centres and their buddies. Finding and sharing the associations will intensify their relationship which makes it easier to give and receive support. The Kindred Spirits are concepts developed together with the addiction clients. These are 3D-printed personal objects that produce calming sounds that can help the patient cope with stressful situations.
