Context:
An open source project to build your own off-camera flash device, where the prototype consists of a lightsensor that is able to measure a trigger and produce light for a camera whilst not being connected to a camera body.
Purpose:
This was a project for the course Interaction & Electronics, with the focus on being creative with low fidelity prototyping. After selecting for what type of photographer (studio, wildlife, portrait, etc.) would use the lightsensor, the students would get time during prototyping sessions across two weeks to build the sensors.
The goal of this project is to creatively experiment with simplified displays and functionality when working with low fidelity materials.
