The ID-StudioLab is participating in the Microsoft Design Challenge 2006, an international design competition organized by Microsoft Research, in which student teams from seven institutions are challenged to create their unique vision around a particular aspect of the future of computing. To select the Delft team we organize an internal competition for four groups of four students each. The winning team will present their work at the Microsoft Research Design Expo, 17-18 July in Redmond (Seattle), USA.
The assignment is to design a scenario, user experience and interactive prototype of a product for a future world of unlimited bandwidth.. The type of product is not predefined and can be anything ranging from an interactive service to a wearable device to an internet application. Students are, however, encouraged to explore the possibilities of expressive and tangible interfacing. Look at the progress_bar for the latest developments!
