And stayed fascinated by a different question: what really motivates us? In search of answer, I wandered, looked around and wrote short stories (Prometheus, 2009)

Now I hope to connect exact skills and creative dreams in a postdoc project at the studiolab: can we use play to break addiction habits?

Next to my academic work, I’m writing  a novel about a paradoxical search for identity and authenticity. If we long to find our authentic selves, are we perhaps afraid to be no better than we are now?  Besides all these serious things I love to do sports in the park, swim in the sea and dance to electronic music
