A toolkit to help inexperienced designers concpetualize interative spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/strong>:
In the business of designing interactive spaces there is a dependency on experts. Companies try to address this by forming multidisciplinary teams and academia adresses this by assigning experienced professionals to teach the students. This project aims to create a toolkit (CLEO) that makes the design of interactive spaces accessible to beginners. CLEO’s aim is to help inexperienced designers conceptualize interactive spaces by empowering the designers with structured knowledge and creative inspiration during the early design phases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learnings<\/strong>:
Cleo proved to boost the creativity and productivity in various design scenarios. It effectively supports both visual and information-driven thinkers and can be used independently without facilitation. However, in group settings, its success depends on the team management skills of the designers. Despite the large content set, users found it manageable and inspiring. Future improvements should focus on digital content updates, building credibility, and creating a sustainable business model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
