The Lab is affiliated\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/connectedeverydaylab.org\/\">Connected Everyday Lab<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>MuseumFutures Lab<\/h2>\n<p><strong>MuseumFutures<\/strong> is a Delft Design School Lab at the\u00a0Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (TU Delft)\u00a0which focuses on exploring the future of museum\u00a0experience design.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years museum experiences\u00a0have evolved from stand-alone experiences within the\u00a0confined space of a physical museum to experiences that\u00a0are embedded in journeys that start before and last until\u00a0after the museum experience; experiences that are\u00a0embedded in community engagement activities, or in\u00a0people\u2019s daily lives; experiences that may follow a\u00a0trajectory through institutional ecosystems (including\u00a0schools, care centres, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>MuseumFutures<\/strong> focuses on the impact that\u00a0such types of\u00a0embedded museum experiences may have on people, museums and their relationships; Initially we used a mobile usability lab at the client\u2019s site for these tests, later we developed a full-fledged a usability lab for them.
