The\u00a0\u00a0 metric\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0of\u00a0 \u2018park\u00a0\u00a0 objects\u2019\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 essentially entails \u00a0who\u00a0\u00a0 went\u00a0\u00a0 over\u00a0\u00a0 what\u00a0\u00a0 Park\u00a0\u00a0 Object\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 at\u00a0 what\u00a0\u00a0 time.\u00a0\u00a0 Here,\u00a0\u00a0 BLE Beacons are very promising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Will It Work<br \/>\n<\/strong>A\u00a0 BLE\u00a0\u00a0 Beacon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (placed\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 on\u00a0 a\u00a0 Park\u00a0\u00a0 Object)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 will\u00a0\u00a0 broadcast a signal\u00a0\u00a0 that \u00a0\u00a0is\u00a0 received\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 by\u00a0 the\u00a0 Sensor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (placed\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 on\u00a0 the\u00a0 board\u00a0\u00a0 of a\u00a0 rider)\u00a0\u00a0 when\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0 broadcasting-range of\u00a0 the\u00a0 BLE\u00a0\u00a0 Beacon.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Beacon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 Sensor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 will\u00a0 communicate defining\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0 proximity of\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 Sensor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (thus\u00a0\u00a0 participant) to \u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0 Beacon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (thus\u00a0\u00a0 Park Object).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If\u00a0 the\u00a0 Sensor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 is\u00a0 within\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 immediate proximity of\u00a0 the Beacon,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 it\u00a0 can\u00a0\u00a0 be\u00a0 concluded that\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0 participant must\u00a0\u00a0 have gone over a Park Object.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimal Viable Product (MVP)<br \/>\n<\/strong>The\u00a0\u00a0 product-service system\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 designed here\u00a0\u00a0 holds\u00a0\u00a0 a\u00a0 design for\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 Minimal\u00a0 Viable\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Product\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (MVP)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0 applying BLE Beacons onto\u00a0\u00a0 Park\u00a0\u00a0 Objects. The\u00a0\u00a0 MVP-case being\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0 place BLE\u00a0\u00a0 Beacons\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 onto\u00a0\u00a0 Park\u00a0\u00a0 Jumps\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (with\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018standard\u2019 dimensions) in wakeparks for wakeboarding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BLE Beacons<br \/>\n<\/strong>A\u00a0 Beacon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 is\u00a0 \u2018a\u00a0 low-cost\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 piece\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0 hardware \u2014\u00a0 small\u00a0\u00a0 enough\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to attach\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0 a\u00a0 wall\u00a0\u00a0 or\u00a0 counter-top \u2014\u00a0 that\u00a0\u00a0 use\u00a0\u00a0 battery-friendly, low-energy Bluetooth connections. The\u00a0\u00a0 core\u00a0\u00a0 outcome of\u00a0 this project\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 is\u00a0 to\u00a0 place\u00a0\u00a0 BLE Beacons onto Park Objects,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 through which multiple core-board-sports can be targeted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participant \/ Rider<br \/>\n<\/strong>In\u00a0 addition\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0 the\u00a0 identification what\u00a0\u00a0 Park\u00a0\u00a0 Object\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a\u00a0 participant went\u00a0\u00a0 over,\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0 Sensor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 will\u00a0 also\u00a0\u00a0 keep\u00a0\u00a0 its\u00a0 current\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 capabilities: measuring jump\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 height,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 jump\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 airtime,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 landing\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 G-force, and\u00a0\u00a0 landing\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 angle.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thereby creating\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a\u00a0 package of\u00a0 \u2018jump-data\u2019\u00a0\u00a0 which\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 can\u00a0\u00a0 be\u00a0 capitalized by\u00a0 using\u00a0\u00a0 various\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 gamification mechanics.
