As has become painfully evident during the coronavirus lockdown, the ability to move in and\u00a0out of different physical, mental and social spaces is an important part of human experience.\u00a0This year\u2019s theme invited students to consider the differences between interiority and exteriority \u2013\u00a0and the transitions between them \u2013 from a designerly perspective.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Topics included the exploration of\u00a0physical<\/b> spaces (indoors\/outdoors, private\/public, individual\/shared), mental or\u00a0emotional<\/b> spaces and possible\u00a0shifts between them, social<\/b> forms of\u00a0inclusion\/exclusion,\u00a0and the borders and boundaries<\/b> that separate interiority and exteriority.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
