Design Goal and Interaction vision

Potluck Learning
\n<\/strong>I designed the ice breaking interaction at the beginning of the online course to facilitate trust building among peers. It aims to facilitate the \u201cpotluck learning\u201d, which persuades people to share and combine their experience and knowledge among their online peers during study.
\nThe learners are asked to create personal cards which show the personal and professional qualities. The learners interact with each other by describing their first impression of their peers. After giving the feedback, the learners can look at the others\u2019 feedback. It triggers a sense of curiosity to start comunication and builds trust and a sense of community to share professional experience and knowledge throghtout thier study.<\/p>\n
