The box can be placed at the table when the main course is finished and it is time for dessert. The box is designed that it unfolds like a flower revealing its “treasure”: small packages containing a question about all kinds of subjects, a spoon-pencil and a napkin to write on (Patsey5). It also has an hourglass to control the game and as a symbol for the importance of having time together(Patsey6). Every player answer the question by writing or drawing till the time is up. Afterwards, the questions are discussed by the whole family.
In a playful way, “Af en toe” occasions more social, educational and enjoyable interactions among family members than during a traditional dinner. Children can learn creative and critical thinking, and practice social skills. Even if the game is played “af en toe”, it turns family dinner into quality time.

<p style="font-size: 80%;
