Thomas Markussen who is an assistant professor in Department of Design at Aarhus School of Architecture (Denmark) will visit our faculty and give a lunch talk on Tuesday April 19 at 12:30 in StudioSay. His talk will be on “how conceptual blends can be used as a new tool kit for designing user experiences.”
Thomas Markussen holds a MA-degree in Comparative Literature and Semiotics and a PhD in Interaction Design. He is assistant professor at the Department of Design at Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. He teaches courses in Experience Design, Urban Interactions and Design Theory & History at the IT-product development program, a joint program between the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University and Aarhus School of Architecture. In his earlier work, which includes lecturing, writings and media productions, Markussen has focused on the impact of digital technology use within art, design and architecture.
