In this research project we focus on the development of three 21st century skills in primary school children through letting them work on real life design challenges. The aim of the project is to develop a toolbox that enables educational institutions to guide children during a design process in a way that stimulates the development these skills. We will study how children’s mastering of these skills will enhance their ability to work on the solution of design problems that are also valuable for the industry. During the presentation I will focus on the development of the toolbox, the use during the first case study and it’s current state.
