Ingrid Mulder has been assigned Program Chair of the 8th International Conference on Communities & Technologies, to be held in Troyes, France, from 26‐30 June 2017.
The biennial conference is the premier international forum for stimulating scholarly debate and disseminating research on the complex connections between communities – both physical and virtual – and information and communication technologies. For the 2017 round of C&T, we welcome contributions that particularly pay attention on technology that can be deployed for the common good. Together with Doug Schuler, her task is to shape a quality program that contributes to social impact as well. Have a look at the call for papers at the conference website. Full and short research papers, workshops as well as case studies are due on February 1st. The proceedings are published by ACM.
