Our project evolves around AI integration for breast reconstructive surgery, made possible by the Erasmus MC together with the faculty of IO TU Delft.

After some critical thinking, we speculated on the role of the AI. What is the role of AI in the process of exploring your new breast size before breast reconstruction? Can you trust an AI to guide your exploration and decision making on your aesthetics? What can influence you and/or the AI? And is the AI to be trusted?

THE EXHIBITION CONTEXT

For the exhibition, we created a ?biased experience with AI?. You walk through an experience that starts trustworthy, sensitive, and kind flow. Yet, the AI makes a switch, involves your social media (and that of your partner), uses published fake news, and asks you to remember ?that girl you were jealous about her breast size? (for example). Do you feel comfortable about the AI knowing so much about you by tracking your social media, the media of your environment, and personal life to ?help?? Do you get influenced and would you change your breast size as a result of the AI? What is your opinion about the influence your environment has on you? Is this a way that shows how the future could look if we are not careful with the data we use to train machines?
