Exhibition 3_Page Group 25 (1)

Participant can choose one out of five objects that resonates with them. This object is shown to the “all-seeing” AI. The AI selects a card for the participant that is given to the participant by the tarot card machine. We ask the participant to interpret the card in relation to themselves and the object.

People are very able to interpret the cards and create their own narrative that resonates with them. the ambiguity is very powerful for participants as well, especially alongside the randomness. this creates an experience which is playful and reflective

Currently AI is mostly embodied in familiar and non-obtrusive objects. Usually objects we are used to in daily life, and only adjusted slightly. This gives a lot less thought to using AI systems on a daily basis. As artificial intelligence will evolve, this poses the questions, how will their embodiments evolve with them? By what visual aesthetics will they be inspired by?
