| Abstract | By 2030 society as we currently know will have changed, however we will keep travelling and exploring the world. The way in which we travel will also change and tourist services will have to anticipate and adapt to the future. Mobility will consist of sharing services and thus, renting vehicles during your holidays will become the way of exploring new places. These vehicles will be equipped with interactive technology that allows you personalise your own trip and trigger interaction between passengers to create a memorable experience. Cities such as Pompeii will be restricted to tourists and this is where OurTour cames, an immersive day city-tour. |

Why to experience the RELIVE IT tour in the Ford Tourneo?
Mind blowing experience
As Vince Kadlubek (CEO & Co-founder of Meow Wolf) states, everyone wants to have a mind-blowing experience, entering to an alternative reality. We all have our routines, and similar realities, but those are mundane. We want to get out of it by getting immersed into an experience that has to be lived to understand it. Having different levels of experience. At first sight everything seems to be normal, but suddenly different features make you get immersed in that alternative reality that makes you challenge and wonder how the whole world can be different.
These immersive experiences can't be explained, can't be shown, but you need to try them, feel them and live the. RELIVE IT!
The impossible becomes possible
Some places such as Pompeii have a historical background and some years ago tourists could walk around, explore freely and even feel everything with your senses (see, touch, smell). But currently they are getting restricted due to the damage and the access will soon be limited. Some other places have completely disappeared or have radically changed over time.
Relive it allows the passengers to see through the window how the place they are visiting looks like but also giving them the opportunity to see how it used to look like in the past.

Below the features are briefly shown together with an explanation about why those add value to the tour. The features can be divided in two main categories which have a different focus on what it adds to the experience. Storytelling
The features make the story come alive of places where there is no access to/don't exist anymore to let passengers fully immerse into the story. This immersiveness is increased by having a local guide who personalizes the story.
- AR window which responses to the story of the guide. The story comes alive by having the AR window demonstrating what the guide tells. This lets passengers immerse and fully understand the story.
- Interactive storytelling by making choices together that change the story-line creating your own unique experience.
Immersive experience
- Let passengers explore places on their own via the AR windows. For example places like devastated houses of Pompeii. This feature personalizes the experience by giving the passengers freedom on what to explore.
- Giving the freedom to the passengers to choose to switch from present to past view by moving a slider under their window to see how it used to look like in the past.
- Triggers more senses to let passengers even more immerse in the events of the story.The chair reacts to the story by small movements, vibrating or temperature changes. Also light and sound effects are included which react to events in the story.
It's a shared experience, you live it as a group. Discussing which direction to follow or what they experience, the whole group looking together through the same window exploring... This will stimulate conversations and social bonding, which makes the experience even more memorable!
