Design Goal and Interaction vision
The design goal; I want to let people who have trouble falling asleep feel like there’s a good night of sleep ahead of them
The interaction vision; Immersive and faint.

In the arms of Morpheus
When people think they’ll have trouble falling asleep, they can use this product. They can uncover the lens by placing the sensor under their pillow just before they get into bed. Then when they lie down it projects light around the user (Eilbracht1.jpg) while they lie in their bed trying to sleep. Their movements are sensed, which influence the intensity of the light pattern, which will force the user to lie restfully. The shape is inspired by the moon, and the materials are natural land neutral (Eilbracht2.jpg). The light is projected over the user, causing an immersive experience. The projected light patterns have organic movements and changing color patterns, to stay interesting over time.
