StudioLabTalk: Culture in Design

What barriers and opportunities do designers encounter when coping with a culture they are not familiar with? Central theme of interest in my research and teaching is the role of culture in design processes. The aim is to understand what culture is and to develop knowledge and design methods & tools that support designers to understand their intended users &their cultural context in order to bridge the gap between the existing context with the desired one.
