StudioLabTalk: The Story of UMA

This talk will be about project UMA (Unified Model of Aesthetics) that was build on the vici grant Paul obtained from NWO this year. Based on the central claim that aesthetic preferences involve striking a balance between two evolutionary, rooted, and complementary pressures, UMA explains and bridges aesthetic responses at the perceptual, cognitive and social level.
